Brrrrrrr it’s cold

Category: Journal

Brrrr it's cold out. Currently as i write this it is -18. Yikes!!!! too cold for me. I would much rather palm trees and 30 degrees any day. But with it being soo cold the sun is out and everything is white. From my office window Kelowna looks absolutely beautiful, i sure hope that the snow stays till Christmas. Kelowna isn't normally this cold so i'll just have to wait and see.

Yesterday was another exciting day as we released my next game. This time an Adventure quest akin to Monkey island, Day of the Tentical, and Space Quest etc. Basically with the help of my writer Gin and Chris game up with the idea of a survival story. Thanks again as always goes out to Chris and Gord for all the great artwork, and this time around to Aaron for creating the mini sledding game inside the quest. It was a great project to strecth my skills a little more. So if you get a chance check it out.

Aside from all this it looks like i will be a bachelor a little longer as Naomi is going to stay in Edmonton till Sunday. Tristan is going to be all grown up by the time i see him next. I miss them both.

Well today it was a balmy -7 so I cant complain too much, but I certainly know what you mean about being too cold, I really don’t love winter, but hey, on the bright side we may actually have a white christmas this year! That would be a nice change from the usual brown christmases we have around here.

I bet you would be warmer if you had Naomi and the little peanut to keep you warm! in the meantime, think warm thoughts, hot chocolate and down duvets in front of a blazing fire!

Wow… makes for pretty pictures but seriously, why aren’t you down here in the 85′ sunshine? Silly friends. Hey do you think Happy Feet and its success might nudge more penguin-loving children to your business? It sure is becoming quite the surprise hit. Would be great if you guys can play off of that somehow! Anyway just checking in to say hey, we miss you guys… happy snow days! 😎
